The night before Friday had been filled with the sounds of thunder, rain, and strong winds. To be honest, I was rather happy that it finally rained here in Zamboanga City since it's been rather hot these past few days. On the other hand, there are still a bunch of evacuees over at Grandstand that are only housed by a roof that leaks and tents that could fly away any second. The Philippines is facing dark days, I hope it ends soon.
I bet you;re thinking about why this post is entitled like that. Well, perfect explanation, actually... because I am indeed wearing, my grandmother's top. She wore this for her birthday this year and I couldn't help but adore it. Not paying attention to the sleeves, it actually fit me very well. It's a sheer top, if I may add. I might just start going through her closet as well along with my mom's. Nyaha.
I've been seeing quite a number of people going around in sneakers that don't need any more shoelaces. I grew interested in them but not to the point of wanting to buy a pair for myself. So instead, I made two pairs from shoes that I already have. I'm a big fan of versatility, and DIYs, so the finished product had me be able to use the shoes with or without shoelaces.

I wake up one morning and head to he computer. I have this set list of websites that I visit every time I do so, the top three being: Facebook, Fanfiction, and Allkpop. Checking for updates seemed like the same old, same old routine that I have grown accustomed to. Of course, that was until I went to Allkpop.
Note: I won't be providing any photos. Y'all can just Google them. Nyaha.
I'll be arranging these bits of news by order of impact. To me, that is.
It's that time of the school year where everything anything graduation-related takes over the minds and souls of students. I'm currently a junior student but, already, it's the second semester and I am in dire need of a good company to intern in.
I've e-mailed a bunch of companies on whether or not they accept interns or not next summer. I may have also e-mailed a few other companies my resume and cover letter to make sure. But unfortunately for me, none of those companies seem to be showing any interest.
Today was a hot day, no kidding. But I had the guts to go around the campus in a scarf like a sick person. I mean, come on, it was an infinity scarf... that I bought for ten pesos. Nyaha.
'Tis the first day of the second semester and I equipped myself myself with the cover-up that I made during this tutorial. A few were able to tell that it was the same piece from that post. On another note, I felt proud to tell people about the endeavor as if it were my baby.
Some people say that my height isn't so normal around Zamboanga. Last time I checked, I'm around 165 cm, around 5"5. I have this guilty feeling of wanting to grow even taller actually, I'm praying on it. Anyway, Pink Berry and Teen Squad is a Boutique around the city that I live in. They actually have pretty good stuff... every now and then.
These two boutiques only have one owner, and she decided that it was about time to advertise her stuff. She talked with the photographer, Sefi Curada, to conceptualize and came up with something that I immediately fell in love with.
South Korea is probably one of the leading countries when it comes to fashion. They have made a lot of progress in the field and continue to do even more. All this made for a great concept. I was recommended to become the model of the shoot since people go around saying that I have Korean-esque features. Bada-been, bada-boom! Here's the post!
YOSH! I'm back with another sewing project for you all. For this project, I decided to give new life to one of the tops that I bought in one of the ukay-ukays in Cebu. I love the construction of the sleeves as it gives off a really laid-back feeling. The polka-dots are textured, they look like they were knitted on or something, Kawaii~
